Key Role Deliverables

Team Leadership & Team Development: Building a high-performing motivated team by working closely with the team members, coaching & mentoring, and leading them as an example
Recruitment: Hiring, and training the credit team on all parameters of credit analysis, monitoring, and taking necessary action to improve the efficiency of the team
Stakeholder Management: Monitoring legal / technical vendors for the quality of work, turnaround time, etc, and ensuring that Varthana gets the best out of them

Recruitments HDB Financial Services For Branch Credit Managers

Portfolio Management:

Managing the School Loans portfolio for the branch. This includes onboarding, monitoring, management, and recovery of school institution loans in the regions.
Ensuring that the portfolio losses are within the portfolio threshold through following appropriate early warning practices by the team and taking appropriate account-level action when necessary.
Ensuring that the team and the portfolio are audit compliant and ready at all times.

Code of Conduct:

Developing and implementing appropriate due diligence processes to ensure that the policy parameters are adhered to by the regional credit team while onboarding new clients
Understanding the local best practices in underwriting, monitoring, and tailoring makes processes when necessary
Relationship Management: Building a solid relationship with customers, for a better customer experience

Preferred Profile

Minimum Education Qualification: Graduation / Post Graduation from a reputed institution
7+ years of experience in Retail banking / SME credit management
3-4 years of experience in handling teams
Team player and motivating the team members to achieve the goals
Influential communication in English and local languages
Analytical skills and ability to process data on computer spreadsheets
Comfortable in assessing clients without access to audited financials
Understanding of risk and its various dimensions like operational risk, credit risk, market risk, etc
Willingness and ability to travel within the city
